Mushroom Minced Meat Noodle

If you walk across the street from Singapore General Hospital, you will find a shop call Hong Kong Street. There are some stalls there. I tried this noodle stall, ordering Mushroom Minced Meat Noodle. It is Teochew style noodle. Cost $3.50. And there is a slice of abalone inside!! ahahaha... I've never tasted Teochew style noodle before.. I think it was ok. The gravy of the noodle is a little sour type, because of the vinegar. If you ate too much the previous night, and looking for something light and appetizing (since it got vinegar), this noodle is ok... hehehe....

PS: Seems like only kYi and I are updating this blog... Where the other authors go ah? Especially the original blog owner? hehe.. comeback la u people!!!

Chicken Spaghetti

If you walk into the Singapore General Hospital and take the lift up to the eighth floor (Brain Centre), you will be able to find a cafeteria... There are quite a varity of food there.... One stall selling chicken dishes like Chicken Rice, Chicken Porridge, Chicken Noodle, and I took this, Chicken Spaghetti... Frankly, it is ok la for patients and also very health conscious people.. But too me, hmmmm... almost tasteless, the soup had not much flavour to u.. so obviously the spaghetti is tasteless too, coz spaghetti itself doesn't carry any taste and only depend on the soup/gravy of the dish to enhance its flavour... So, really no taste.. hahaha... That's the last time I'm eating that unless when I fall ill and looking for something really light....

3块钱的面

总是在失去灵感之后才强迫自己坐在电脑前努力打着打得很慢的方块字.该怎么说呢,就好像去年的圣诞卡在今夏才交到你手中这样..

数年前我还天真地以为自己会在一年半的课程结束后变得能够被朋友依赖的可靠男生…虽然很想有型地竖起拇指承诺说:我都是有话直说,我一定会兑现我的承诺!
但事与原违,无论在人缘,学业,语言,心境上我都没有多大的成长…下一次,我一定回出色地完成任务!

从小时候开始,我们一家人时常光顾大马小贩中心.这个习惯到现在还一直保留着.记得每次经过某摊位时, 我总会瞥见一位大姐姐捧着书在帮忙打理生意.这时, 我都觉得自己其实是很幸运的.至少,不必在如此嘈杂的环境下一心数用…每每见到她努力的身影我都自形惭秽,自己总是无法像他人般勤奋专心.今天,我再次踏进那儿,却发觉
那身影早已不知去向,只留下一桌的冷清.

3块钱一碗的水饺面,是贵还是便宜?在数年前人们或许觉得很贵,但在百物齐涨的今天,我发觉找遍全新山都找不到3块钱的面.不同于一般面团,这是手工制的面.虽然今不如昔,这卖面的慈祥大叔仍然保持原价,不乘机在这一片涨风里牟利.有点替他担心,他能维持一家的生计吗?没人知道答案,但我希望他能.

知道在水饺汤里载浮载沉的青葱吗?一般人都只会注意到水饺而遗忘了衬托红花的绿叶.至少,我都会努力地把汤里的碧绿青葱一片片的放进嘴里,因为我知道,再不起眼的东西都能带给我们不一样的灿烂.

若大家有机会到大马小贩中心,不妨去体验一下我说的,相同却不一样的滋味.

Duck Noodle - Quack Quack!!!

I went to Harbourfront... Was so hungry that I stopped by Seah Im Food Centre just opposite of Vivo City and outside of Harbourfront MRT... I took this... Duck Noodle... Hmmmm... Never tried b4 actually, taste so-so la.. $3.00.. And I drank sugarcane!! hehe.. Haven't drank it for like 5 years ady!!! SO REFRESHING!!!!...

酱清猪肉和猪肉炒蛋

先把猪肉切片，嘻嘻，我不大会煮，切得不是很美，别切太厚，会很难煮熟的。。加入酱清来调味。。放在一旁大约半小时，让它入味，就可以炒了。。

那一点加了酱清的猪肉出来，剁碎，然后把蛋加进去。。

放点盐，搅拌均匀。。。

酱清猪肉。。。哈哈。。。假如你要黑一点，炒之前可以加点黑酱油。。

猪肉炒蛋，如果你怕猪肉不熟的话，就先炒猪肉碎，再把蛋加进锅里。。。

CNY Meals...

I'm gonna show you some typical CNY dishes that we, the chinese normally take during CNY!!!! Wooo woooo.......

What is this?! Anyone knows? Yes, it's sharkfin soup, but then, it is vegetarian... Since I'm Buddhist, so I can only take vegetarian meals on the first day of CNY...

What's this? "Lou Sang"... Vegetarian also!!! Hehehe...

I'm suppose to take all the dishes photo, but then I forgot after eating the first two dish, when i remembered, almost all gone liao.. Paiseh....

OK, 2nd day ady!!! Now can eat some real stuff... Woo woo... this is the real "lou sang", same as the vegetarian one but with fresh raw fish & abalone slices!!!! Yum Yum.... the sweet sour sauce is real appetizing!!!!!!! hehehehe...

The real sharkfin soup... There are a lot of crab meat inside, a slice of abalone and sharkfin lor... but then, I'm not sure whether the sharkfin is real or not, because there are many restaurants now selling fake (vegetarian) sharkfin as the real thing is too expensive...

This is 猪脚... Oh, recent research finds that this dish is anti-cancer!!! But don't eat too much, it will cause heart problems... hehehe.. too much fat mar....
